Adrastos


Adrastos pacifies Polyneikes and Tydeus, 350 BC

Adrastos in the middle pacifies the two men, Polyneikes and
 Tydeus and marries them with his two daughters Argeia and Deipyle,
from a red figure crater below, 350 BC.

In another instance Adrastos pacifies two other men.
Bronze relief from an hoplite shield dedicated at Olympia.
 Adrastos in center (his name in Argive letters, underneath the shields,
 reading from right to left) separates two warriors, perhaps
Amphiaraos and Lykourgos, who are held back by friends.
 575 - 550 BC.
