| In the village
Kastria of Achaia, you can find the Cave of Lakes.
According to the legend, it was in this cave that Melampus found the two
of the three daughters of Proetos, king of Tyrins, Lysippe and
Iphianassa. The third daughter, Iphinoe, had died on the way. Melampus cured them from their madness and then brought them to the village of Luci. The three daughters had being inflicted with madness by Hera, after they boasted that they were more beautiful, than the goddess. |
