Coinage


During the 7th century BC, at the times of the tyrant Pheidon, who according to Aristotle, he invented coinage, Argos was one of the earliest cities in Greece to issue coins, after Aigina. Corinth was using until the early 7th century the coinage of Argos, until stroked her own, under Kypselos.
